VO₂ Max Tracker
Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 9, 2026
One-sentence summary: your health data never leaves your iPhone. We do not collect it, we do not store it, we do not sell it — we cannot, because we never receive it.
1. Who we are
VO2 Max Tracker (the “App”) is developed and published by MontesWeb SL, a company registered in Spain (Tax ID / CIF: B09544107, registered address: Benjamín Palencia 6, 3D, Spain). For any privacy matter you can reach us at soporte@montesweb.com.
2. Health data the App reads
With your explicit permission, granted through Apple’s HealthKit authorization screen, the App reads the following data from Apple Health on your device:
- VO₂ Max (cardio fitness)
- Workouts (type, duration, distance, calories and GPS route)
- Heart rate and resting heart rate
- Sleep
- Body weight and height
- Date of birth and biological sex (used to calculate fitness percentiles and cardiovascular age)
You choose which of these categories to share. The App works with whatever you grant and never requires more than it needs. The App does not write any data to Apple Health.
3. How and where your data is processed
Exclusively on your iPhone. All calculations — heart age, percentiles, trends and your training plan — run locally on your device. The App has no servers of its own, does not require an account or registration, and does not make network connections to transmit your health data.
4. What we never do
- We do not collect, transmit or upload your health data off your device
- We do not use third-party analytics or advertising SDKs
- We do not sell, rent or share data with anyone
- We never use data obtained through HealthKit for advertising, marketing, or data mining, and we never disclose it to third parties — as required by Apple’s guidelines and our own commitment
- We do not write anything to Apple Health
5. App Store privacy label
Consistent with everything above, the App’s privacy label on the App Store is “Data Not Collected”: no data is collected by the developer, linked to your identity, or used to track you.
6. Data retention and deletion
The App only stores its own settings and your training-plan answers locally on your iPhone. Deleting the App permanently deletes all of them. Your health data itself remains solely in Apple Health, under your control at all times — nothing of yours remains with us, because nothing was ever sent to us.
7. Your rights and control
You can revoke the App’s access to Apple Health at any time in the Health app: Sharing → Apps and Services → VO2 Max Tracker, or in Settings → Privacy & Security → Health.
Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and equivalent laws (including the California Consumer Privacy Act), you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction and portability over personal data a company processes about you. Because we do not collect or process your personal data, there is typically nothing for us to act on — but you can exercise these rights or ask us anything at soporte@montesweb.com. If you contact us by email, we will use the data you provide only to answer you, and you may also lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority (in Spain, the AEPD, www.aepd.es).
8. Children
The App is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction) and, as described above, does not collect personal data from any user, including children.
9. Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will also be communicated inside the App. Continued use of the App after a change means you accept the updated policy.
